Les Stratton opened Hancock Self Storage in 1997. The Stratton family has owned this property for 4 generations. Known locally as The Stratton Farm, it has been in agricultural use for over 100 years.
Les has strong Downeast roots. Born, raised, and educated locally, he has served on the Hancock Planning Board, as a Hancock Selectmen, and attends the local church. Les is a member of the Anah Temple Shrine, the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce and the Maine Self Storage Association.
The fact that Les is an on-site owner adds to the convenience of renting units at Hancock Self Storage. He is available almost any time within normal business hours.
